Pentecost, which is celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter, commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost).
As it’s written in Acts 1, there were three main themes in the life of the disciples during these fifty days at that time: the meaning of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the kingdom of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. The believers today will also benefit from making these three themes the focus of their meditation.
We would like to invite all congregation or even every reader of this post to have a meaningful time to Pentecost.
