Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the followers of Jesus Christ. On the first Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus, the believers received the Holy Spirit and started to witness for Jesus Christ everywhere. We will take this time to understand the ascension of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church. Let’s expect the greater works of the Holy Spirit. “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. January 25 | 2020 2020 Lunar New Year
On January 24, Burlington Agape Community Church held the Lunar New Year Event. Church members, friends from the community and students from the University of Vermont celebrated it together. All of them enjoyed the homemade authentic Chinese food and the time together.

It will be our annual Lunar New Year Celebration at 6-8 pm on Friday, January 24th, which is the New Year’s Eve. Come and celebrate with us, you will enjoy the authentic Chinese food. November 29 | 2019 Thanksgiving Day Event
On November 28, Burlington Agape Community Church held Thanksgiving Day Event. Many attendees participated in singing praises of thanksgiving, bible reading and listening to the short message. In the short message, the minister emphasized recognizing God’s goodness and giving thanks to him as the theme of the Thanksgiving Day event. We are designed in a way that we need to live our lives in a relationship with God. Only in this relationship with him, our life has purpose, directions, spiritual support and all blessings. He closed with a prayer of giving thanks to God and wanting to walk with him. After the service, they had the Thanksgiving meal together.

Looking for a Thanksgiving dinner? Come to our Thanksgiving celebration and dinner at 11 AM. There will be traditional Thanksgiving food and other food as well. You could bring a dish to share but you don’t have to. Please let us know if you are coming.
